What Is Prayer Art Journaling?
I see prayer art journaling as a combination of art, journaling, prayer, and Bible Journaling. God is our Creator and since we are made in His image, I see that God wants us to be creative. Being creative allows you to express yourself in any media, incorporate Bible verses and seek God to ask about the application of these verses in your life through prayer.

MY JOURNEY…
When I came across prayer art journaling, I was 45 and had been a Christian for over 25 years. So I was late for the party. I love writing down my prayers and scripture.
It helps me to remember prayer requests and connect with God, and what he's saying to me personally through his word. Using sketches, doodles, calligraphy collages, and colour to the process brings another dimension to prayer and brings your prayer life alive.

What is Art Journaling?
An art journal is where you express your feelings, using art. It's a diary but in an artistic form. The great thing is that you can make it your own and you can use old books, notebooks, planners and even make your own. The other thing great about it is having an art journal is that it allows you to experiment with different mediums.
Nothing needs to be perfect and you don't need to finish it. When you're creating an art journal, you need to consider the type of paper, the type of book, the type of binding, and what type of media you're going to use on the paper? Some people like to make their own art journal and you can do this in two forms; turning an old book into an art journal or making a DIY art journal using watercolour paper scrap paper twine, or a spiral-bound book.
