I understand your journey, because I’ve lived it too.
A couple of years ago, my life hit a breaking point.
I was caring for multiple family members going through very real challenges, running my private practice, trying to hold my home together — and quietly burning out.
One day I sat on the floor and cried until I had nothing left. I whispered, “God, I can’t do this.”
In that raw moment, He whispered back:
“Pick up a brush and paint.”
I painted what looked like a bruise — grey, pink, purple — messy and honest. I stared at it and said, “Lord, this looks like a mess.”
And He whispered:
“I’m going to turn your mess into a message.”
That moment became a turning point.
I took time to rest, breathe, meditate on Scripture, and create without pressure.
And slowly, gently, God rebuilt me through colour, prayer, and creativity.
Out of that season, Creative Sanctuary was born — a peaceful space where women who love God can find rest, renewal, and creative connection without perfectionism or overwhelm.

You don’t need to be “an artist.” You simply bring your Bible, your journal, and your willingness to sit with God. He meets you in the stillness, not in polished outcomes.
