These Terms and Conditions outline what is expected of you as a participant and of Creative Sanctuary as the organiser. They exist to ensure clarity, fairness, and a safe, enjoyable retreat experience for all guests. By making a booking or payment, you agree to these terms.
We strongly advise all guests to take out comprehensive travel insurance to cover cancellation, illness, travel disruption, and personal belongings.
2. Booking & Payment
A non-refundable 20% deposit is required to secure your place.
The remaining balance will be collected automatically in three equal monthly instalments via Stripe unless otherwise arranged.
Prices are per person, inclusive of accommodation, meals, creative workshops, art materials, and scheduled activities.
Your booking is confirmed only once your deposit has been received and a confirmation email issued.
3. Cancellations & Transfers
Deposits are non-refundable, but they may be transferred to another person or a future retreat if you notify us at least 60 days before the retreat start date.
Cancellations made:
60+ days before: transferable or credit available.
30–59 days before: 50% refund (excluding deposit).
Under 30 days: no refund (you may gift or transfer your place).
If the retreat must be cancelled by the organiser due to unforeseen circumstances (e.g. illness, venue issues, or legal restrictions), guests will receive a full refund or credit towards a future retreat.
4. Changes by the Organiser
Creative Sanctuary reserves the right to make reasonable changes prior to or during the retreat. This may include changes to facilitators, itinerary, accommodation, or activities due to circumstances beyond our control (e.g. illness, weather, travel disruptions). If changes are necessary, we will communicate them promptly and always aim to maintain the integrity and value of your retreat experience.
